    Same here. I've only ever used Beersmith. Once you dial in the equipment profile, everything
    seems to come out accurately for me. It's only $19 at birdman brewing.

    Another one to look at is the Torpedo Kegs. I don' have one, so I can't comment on the quality.

    Perlicks fit standard US shank sizes, which I believe are 7/8"-14 (5/8" BSP) threads.
