This thing is stuck at 1.032 after 4 weeks in primary. I have roused the yeast and turned up
the room heat to 72F. On sunday the 5th, I made a 1000ml starter with 1.030 wort and washed

Well, it's been in the bottles for 2 weeks. I chilled one from each batch and did a sampling.
They both are carbonating well and have a nice head and lacing. The primary only is slightly

Great experiment with surprising results! Generally people secondary to get clearer beer. That
is part of the new thinking. Keeping it primary longer nets clearer beer. That is what happened
    here.

Update: This has been going for 4 weeks now. The FG for BOTH batches has leveled out at 1.015.
No difference! I did noticed that the one I left in primary is much clearer than the one I

Since the US military is no longer using it, we should adopt the rule, "Don't ask -- Don't
tell". Just make sure you package them well as described above and send them on their merry
    way.

Nice balloon, dude! I've never been in a balloon before, so if I get to NM, I'll look you up! :)

I fly fixed wing. I have a Cessna 140 (1947) and an experimental Corben Junior Ace (1986). I slowly working on building an RV-4. I have a little time in gliders as well and hope to add that rating this summer.

I have my webpage at http://corbenflyer.tripod.com if you'd like to stop by and see some of my "stuff"...

Will do! (Look you up, that is)...I hope to make it to the GABF in Denver within the next year or two. If I get that far, I might as well continue on to Phoenix to visit my aunt & uncle. Last time we did this, we drove through Albuquerque if I recall on some Interstate Hwy (25 perhaps???)....getting too old (46) to recall ;)

Just out of curiosity...you wouldn't happen to be a ham radio guy as well, would you? A lot of ham friends are pilots as well. Common defective gene ;)
