I've used my slurry jars for one batch of cider and one wit so far, both took off, just took a
bit to get going I think, but that was likely cuz I used 250ml jars, instead of the 500ml
    :)...so user er...

I had one controller (out of 6 or 7 that I have) that no matter what I tried, I could never get
it to flash. Same as yours. I'd send the 'd' command and it would not be recognized. Checked
    and recheck...

I used the pins on the header to scratch the coating off the solder points.I tried that a few
times, and it does get power, as the display lights up...but sending the d command always
    fails...I'm goin...

what is everyone using to remove the film from the underside of the STC1000? I tried gently to
remove what was on mine with a flat head screw driver and I can get it to power, but when I

Yes, one wire into each terminal. thanks soo much...yes, mine came with a hard copy of this,
but I wasn't sure what that symbol on the right port meant...and some pictures I saw online
    mentioned a + ...

Either or is fine. as long as you connect the sensor, you're good to go.and am I correct that
one wire goes into each port? not two/both into one port?

may be a silly question, but I wanted to be safe, rather than sorry...is there a "right way"
and a "wrong way" to wire in the sensor to the STC 100 prior to flashing? my two wires look to
    be identical...

Hi @CNevay !I saw your github issue, and that you already solved this (by downgrading your
Arduino IDE). I don't know if it is an issue with the code with newer arduino IDE's or what. If
    that is the c...

I'm trying to upload the sketch to my newly purchased Arduino UNO and I receive this error
message, I'm new to this...so hopefully its just something I'm doing wrong, nothing major...but

Well, that is probably a genuine UNO. If you check eBay, you can find very cheap clones, but
you'll have to wait for the slow boat.yes, that makes sense...thanks for all of your help and
    support.
