well I woke up this morning to bubbles in the blow off overflow bucket and krausen on top of

ok. took 72 hour hydro reading. No change at all.repitched another packet of dry yeast by
sprinkling.Plugged carboy and shook it on edge violently.smelled and tasted wort and noticed

thanks for the advice to consider the volume of the DME. Do you think that there is a net zero
volume between adding 1/2 gallon of DME and the volume you lose to the grain absorbtion?Also,

fermenter is a 6 gallon carboy with 1" blow off hose. No visible sign of fermentation yet. No
bubbles in the starsan discharge bucket. Seal seems fairly tight.I started with 6 gallons in
