  • I enjoyed drinking beer and tried tasting as many different styles as possible (I've even tried a "goze", paired well with the fish I was eating but I still didn't like it too much). All the male ancestors that I have were bootleggers of some sorts and my uncle is a homebrewer as well; so I guess that meant that I had to do something. I am also a chef at a local restaurant and have a knack for flavorings and pairing foods with drinks. One day I wanted to try something different and instead of going to the beer garden I went to a local bookstore, bought a homebrewing for dummies book and started brewing beer. "Old Rasputin" Russian Imperial Stout is definately my favorite beer and I was proud for my first beer to be the same type. It came out quite nice even though I gave away 43 of the 48 bottles that I made.

Hey how's it going. Found your recipe the other day and tried it out. Just got finished making
