Thanks for all the advice. I put the lid back on and added a drain hose thats only 1 foot long,
have the bottle for the airlock, sitting ontop the bucket now, looks like with 1 foot of hose

Oh we arent dissapointed with the NB kits, not at all. Just didnt make sense on the steeping
instruction. If you drop your grains in cold water and heat for 20 minutes, you may not even

So how does this temp controller work? With a freezer or fridge that is.
