  • I started homebrewing 4 years ago. It all with a Mr. beer kit I received as a gift for Christmas. I ended up with 3 all in one year. rn2 Mr beer kits and a Brewology 201 kit. The first Mr beer kit tasted terrible. The second one smelled like sewer water, so I was afraid to taste it. The brewology kit turned out drinkable but not good. After failing with the kits i bought a brew pot, bucket, etc, and real ingredients. Ever since I started buying real quality ingredients, the beer has been great! The last two years I've brewed 60 gallons each year. I have learned to hate bottling, and soon will be enjoying draft homebrew...

Replace it. What type of drill were you using? Step drills can crack plastic easily, the way
they're made puts a lot of force outward from the hole. If you use hole saws this should keep
