- Las Vegas, NV
- In a search to find an alcohol i would enjoy, shortly after turning 21, i discovered craft beer. I feel in love almost instantly, and its dominated my every thought since. Finally, after much putting it off , i started brewing my own. Not cause i wanted to say money or something like that, but i simply realizied where my ridiculous and undying love and adoring of craft beer was going. I found my calling i guess. I have ambitions to brew on a commercial level. Ive turned so many people in my time on to craft brew and have gained some much knowledge through near constant immersion in studying it in my free time that i figured this is my calling.
- beer (tasting,reviewing,brewing),photography,hiking,sports (play & watch),weight training
- Technician
- rock, but i tend to be able to enjoy near anything. I love The Spill Canvas and Shinedown.
- man on fire
- family guy
- bourne identity and supremacy , the jester, midnight club, the poet, the his dark materials trilogy
- SNAFU (Southern Nevada Ale Fermenters Union)
- I finally started brewing on 8-31-08, i really can't explain why i waited so long. The knowledge and love of craft beer had my friends and family nudging me to make my own. Now i realize that this is what I'd like to do for the rest of my life. Until 1-24-09 i was an extract brewer with 7 beers under my belt, 3 kits 4 recipes of my own(my recipes went over very well, so far so good right?). I recently graduated to all grain. I have an 8 gal brewpot and a 5gal MLT. Works good for now(beers under 1.062, single infusion). I brew only my own recipes now, and constantly try to soak up as much knowledge as I can.
- I'm always tinkering with this or that...

- American Red & Brown, Coffee Stout, Wee Heavy, Brown Porter, Dry Stout

You can do it off one tank no problem, you just need 2 lines coming off your regulator (one for
each keg). If you wanna carbonate 2 at the same time but to a different level, then you would
need a reg...Posted in thread: 25th annual southern california regional homebrew championship on 08-10-2012 at 04:37 AM

Also, cloudy Star San doesn't means it's not working. I have hard as well, though it's ideal to
get some distilled water and make some Star San that you can keep for a while. The only way to

suspension) that got stuck to the glass with the krausen (big layer of foam and trub up top of
