I've always just used Col. Conk's pucks. Cheap, lather up nice and smell good. I'm more of a
utility shaver than a hobbyist though so it is strop it, lather up and go not "must have all of

You'd have to make a really heavy collar for that to happen. I'd have to really fling my 1x10
collar very hard to get it to tip over.Same... I am more worried about damaging my collar if I

I did mine after prep but before assembly. Easier with everything taken apart. My one big gripe
was I didn't use primer, even though I had a can, which made it much harder than it had to be.
