    I have had soapy beers.Usually when I have a hop forward beer without adding gypsum.I dry
    hopped with Citra. Its just awful. leaves this soapy aftertaste in your mouth

    I just popped a keg of my Red ale, and it just doesn't taste right. the best I can describe it
    is Soap. I'm tempted to dump itanyone had this happen ?

    Depends on how bitter you want it. I don't like my ales too bitter, 30-35 IBU. I bitter with
    Cascade, and then Dry Hop with the Citra. That way you can really make the tropical flavors of
    Citra shine
