That being said, if you want to use the gelatin in the fermenter, a brief and gentle stir
should be fine.

From your signature, it appears that you keg most of your beers. I generally put the gelatin
into the empty keg, purge with CO2, then rack the beer on top of the gelatin. This mixes well
