  • My wife knew how much I loved beer, so for Valentine's Day one year, she got me a beginner's kit, and it was ON after that.

Current Setup: 2 keggles, 1 10-gallon igloo mash tun, better bottle fermenter, and 70K BTU Camp Stove for brewing/fermenting. Refrigerator/kegerator with 2 5-gallon corny kegs.

Past Equipment: 5-gallon rubbermaid mash tun, 7 gallon pot, 5 gallon bucket fermenter.
  • - Ruddy Bastard Red IPA, brewed using hops from my ruddy friend's hop vines.
    - Covenantal Coffee Ale, a brown ale with natural coffee added in the fermenter. Trying to reproduce an experimental coffee brown I had at the Alaskan Brewing Co. brewery.

What he said. Rice hulls add little to the overall cost of a brew (from what I understand), and
nothing to the flavor. If they fix your problem, it might be a good way to do it. I have a
    couple of oth...
