  • Although I had been curious about the hobby for a number of years, it was not until a friend gave it a shot and asked me to help out, after that, I just had to learn more and try it all out for myself. Now, it's almost every weekend, and the weekdays are spent pondering whats next.

    Love what you did man, but I have a question, why Copper instead of Stainless? Thinking

    Have yet to use OxyClean, but some hot water and Power Brew Wash (PBW) does the trick
    perfectly. OxyClean will most likely be on the cheaper end, but I can only vouch for PBW. =)

    Just my .22 cents.. Kegging is great for the Lazy Factor, but Bottling is perfect for the
    Transporting and Sharing factor. As Revvy said, much easier to sneak the HB in when it's in a
    bottle, although...

Yes, still brewing, I just did a "Weizen Bock" wheat beer, it came out good it was red with good carbonation and has about 10% alcohol. My husband really likes it. I can't drink beer anymore because it upsets my stomach and I'm trying to lose weight, I sure do miss it. Not sure how the C.U. would react, but if you would like to try my latest maybe we can figure out some way to meet up in the parking lot or something. What have you been making? Talk soon...
