Have not had it yet, hopefully its on tap tonight at the place I work at, but Excelsior Brewing
(local place here in MN) is giving us a keg of their Cherry Wheat. Only pre posting it on here
cause all...Posted in thread: Huge Road Trip: Where should I stop? on 05-11-2013 at 07:56 PM
If you can avoid 3F on a weekend you'll be better off. It's a line out the door pretty much all
day. Most weekdays you can walk right in. I don't even bother going over there on weekends. You
can get ...Posted in thread: SMaSH IPA recipe help on 05-09-2013 at 01:07 AM
Agree on the US05. I use it for pretty much everything unless I'm doing a Saison or a hefe.

these and want to keep it consistent. I called it a pseudo SMaSH when I used Cascade and Maris
Otter becau...Posted in thread: Mosaic IPA recipe critique on 05-07-2013 at 12:45 PM
Looks pretty good. If you've got the crystal 20 in there, I don't think you need the carapils
also. But I also don't think it will necessarily hurt anything. If you want to isolate the
Mosaic, why the...Posted in thread: What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had? on 05-02-2013 at 02:27 AM
I'll agree and disagree on Goose Island. I actually like the IPA. I haven't had Sofie yet, but
Matilda is fantastic and I'm not a huge Belgian drinker either. On the down side, Green Line
has definite...Posted in thread: What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had? on 04-27-2013 at 04:02 AM
The lemon berry shandy is, somewhat embarrassingly, pretty tasty. Berry Weiss is nasty though.
Way, way too sweet. Although, considering Leinenkugel craft at this point is a bit of a
stretch.
