  • I got into making mead as part of my childhood quest to be a modern viking. I made my first batch in highschool. It took almost two decades before I got around to making my second batch. I'm only interested in mead. Wine is swill, and my body no longer tolerates beer.

If by "sanitized" you mean "rinsed under hot water and glared at sternly" then, yes, I sanitized my equipment.
