  • It all started with a Mr. Beer kit. After a year or two of having my first job after college I had some money and realized that I need to start brewing a little better than cheap plastic bottles with twist off tops. I thought I could make a lot better beer and learn a lot more about beer. Then a friend referred me over to this site and I have expanded my beer knowledge tenfold. I think that will be the case for the next few years.

Thanks guys, I think that sounds like a good plan. I'll go ahead and make a nice session beer
with the yeast washed from this current batch and report back with the results. My guess is the
    yeast will...

I normally brew a nice 1.050 beer every 4th batch so I can wash the yeast and be good for
another 4 batches. This last brew was a Blonde Ale with Wyeast 1056, but I forgot to shove the
    temp probe down...

I'm not trying to hi-jack this thread, so sorry to the OP in advance. I've got one bottle of

    it is legit. ...

Maybe the wake n bake (if it's the cinnamon roll'd one with the white wax), but we'd have to
add some other stuff to make it worth shipping.Negative, just the regular WnB. Oh well, worth a
    shot. Thank...

Unfortunately not, just regular BCBS. I can throw in a Wake n Bake as well.

  • Posted in thread: As the hops fade... on 04-04-2014 at 01:15 AM
Not sure if you've tried this but maybe do 2-3 different dry hops? With my current beer I
tossed in some hops once I hit FG, did the same thing 3 days later, cold crashed, kegged, and
    then added some ...

    time. Thanks

You will probably dilute but there will still be some sugar coming out with the sparge water.
Definitely better than just diluting with water. Your best bet if you want to hit your target
    gravity is t...

Well in my case I had no room for to hook a new keg up but I had beer sitting around waiting to
be bottled or kegged. I picked kegged and I used that route since it is sitting in my garage
    waiting for...
