5 gallon batch ... Cream ale yeast from Austin homebrew ... Normal pitch from liquid yeast I
rarely do starters and never have issues ... And I have a fridge with temp control that was on
the low side...

Ok that's about what I did 10 min or so ... The wort didn't have much of a caramel taste and
actually really sweet. I also added lactose so I'm hoping as it ferments the caramel comes
through a little...

Thanks for the input ... It's a partial mash recipe I also have Amber LME to add to it so
hopefully I don't get too much crystal flavoring

Hey guys and gals,I am trying my first caramel cream ale and have put together a first recipe.
It's going to be partial mash. I really want to get a nice caramel taste. The goal is to have a
