  • Started with a friend in College and have slowly found myself with more and more equipment, in my small apartment now I am running:

5 gal brew pot on the electric stove

    3 Carboys (6.5, 6, 5) and 2 Corny Kegs.

I have been working on modifying a really small Sanyo fridge that has been gifted through generations of college kids but somehow keeps kicking. I pulled the freezer plate down and replaced the thermo with a ranco controller. I picked up a cheapish regulator kit and recently put a perlick creamer forward seal in the door.

If i pull the CO2 outside and get really creative maybe I can fit a second keg in there hmmmmm

I have been able to pull off full (5 gal) boils doing B.I.A.B. using just half extract but to
get a good rolling boil I've done best splitting between a large and small burner that are
    front to back (...

little closer the rubber was part way up the bolt. I tried everything and almost bought a

I went with a Ranco ETC-111000 after reading around, you can usually get them for ~$60 shipped,
then what ever value you place on an old extension cord you'll need to cut to hook it up. Just
    google (o...

The real answer is maybe. I am assuming this is a (Freezer) cold plate with a door in front of
it like mine is. I doubted the ability to make it work for years before going through with it,
    it fits 1 ...

Just tapped my second go this morning. I usually only sample when racking so sorry it took so
long to update. Raspberry is a little stronger than the first and not as malty but not super
    sweet by any ...

If you get a good answer let me know too! My blow-off tube its pretty much for show and I've
gone back to just pitching and putting the airlock on. and recently for beers above ~1.060 I've

Ha ha, isn't the title here "Dry Hoping Questions" Honestly I just loosely followed the recipe
in the Joy of HB3, in some versions he forgets to say where one of the hops addition is, i
