Another vote for Speidels. I have bucket fermenters and better bottles, but I never use them
unless both of my 30 liter Speidels are already full.

I think that as long as you put the STC-1000's temperature probe in the freezer compartment, it
will keep the freezer side at whatever temp you set it at.And you don't have to cut the plug
off the end...
