I use a cooler with false bottom. I mash in backwards from what they tell you. I add the water

Okay. I'm gonna start with a confession. I'm twelve (mental age anyway ) . I bought taps and

This is exactly what I do in the winter. Sometimes I use snow, but for that I use a bucket with
a valve and a BIAB bag as a filter to keep twigs, leaves, rabbit poops, etc. from getting into

If you have a pump to recirculate, I have pumped ice water from a cooler into an immersion
cooler with the water recirculating back. Lots of ice to get it to lager pitch temperature

I had a similar thing happen with one of my first beers. It was a Northern Brewer Surly Bitter
Brewer kit. At about a week in the bottles it had wonderful malt complexity. I tasted marmelade

I have been brewing my way through Brewing Classic Styles. It helps to have suggestions for

Duboman and B-Boy have it right, you're pretty much good to go as long as you need. The biggest
player is sanitation as dubonman mentioned. As long as that is in check and you're pumping in
