  • I've been Home Brewing since 2004 thanks to a friend in Vermont, and I didn't drink beer until I turned 23 when a friend introduced me to good beer.rnFavorite beer - Switchback AlernFavorite braggot - Magic Hat Champagne cask aged braggot - I drank it on a tour of the brewery, it never made it to bottles because the abv was too high. Magic hat released a braggot the next fall, but it was boring, ever since then I've been trying to come up with a good braggot recipe.

I have never made an extract batch, but for about 4 years I made BIAB partial mash batches
before I went BIAB all grain. My BIAB all grain beers have a truer-to-style color, and have
    come out clearer....

I hate it when people think that only the beer they like is "balanced". :pYou missed my point,
took a portion of it completely out of context, and modified the intended message. I'll restate
    my positi...

I felt similarly when all the beers on the market were "HOPS HOPS HOPS!!" style IIPA's; I like
a balanced beer, and the slue of IIPA's on the market were anything but; they were palette
    wreckers plain...

I made a lengthy reply to your thread here: as for temperature control - Ales, US-05 is a
pretty neutral ale yeast that doesn't seem to mind warmer temps all that much.sanitation is the
