I've been married for over thirty years to a wonderful partner in life. Have two great kids, both in college: oldest (daughter) just finishing up and the youngest (son) just starting.
I'm a Christian living in the Bible Belt who thinks it is not only okay to drink beer, but who thinks making it is fine as well. Unfortunately the state in which I live disagrees with the latter. - Reading,Chess,Writing,Home Brewing (obviously)
- Rush
- Unforgiven, LOTR Trilogy, Crash
- Boston Legal, Friends, Seinfeld, WKRP; don't really watch much TV though. Don't like reality shows
- John Sandford, Stephen King, P.G. Wodehouse, Linwood Barclay, Dean Koontz, John Grisham, and many ot
- AOPA; Internet Chess Club
- Can't really remember what spurred my original entry into home brewing; probably just something I ran across while wandering around the web. I brewed three batches of extract, all pretty good. Then I tried an all grain without the room or right equipment; went bad and I didn't brew again for several (five or so) years. Got back into it when I was down in Mobile and was picking up a wine kit; we (SWMBO & I) had been getting into wines and wanted to try and make a batch. While there, I also picked up a brew kit. This was in the fall of '07.
- A Sweet Stout is next up, something like a Watney's Cream Stout.
-
Wheat Ale and
Nottingham Apfelwein - Nothing
- Wee Heavy that's not yet ready and an Amber Ale that'll be gone way too soon.
- Nails. It was a long time ago, though.
- Male
- Married
