    Use soapy water to pinpoint the leak. If it is that threaded joint take it apart with some
    wrenches, put some teflon tape on the threads and tighten it up.

    I think it makes a difference what size braid you use too. I use a larger water heater
    connector steel braid in a 5 GAL Igloo. I get good efficiency with batch sparging. I think I

    I got a 4 gallon SS pot from Big Lots for $16, it worked great for extract kits.Then I bought
    another one to do split boil All Grain batches on my stove, this also worked great and produced
    good beer....
