1851 looks to be before they started making lagers in Germany.I would probably go with Wyeast
1007 yeast. You'll probably need to make a good size starter(2-3L at least), and then cold
crash it prior ...

My brewhouse efficiency is currently around 70%. Should I up the Marris Otter to 12-14lbs, or

Lemishine - citric acid hard water spot remover.At AmazonCheaper at Walmart or a local grocery

I've used oxy quite a bit and had the same haze on the bottles if I leave them in the solution
too long. I've read somewhere that this is a reaction of the oxy with really hard water. I've
used a 50/5...
