It sounds like you just got a bad wand. I've used one for years without issue. That said, I
would think a drop of Superglue would work fine. If you just use a drop you should still be
able to crack it...

Check your torque on the nut. You could be over-tightening them a little which pushes the
O-ring out of place. If that's the case, back off a little and it should seal right up.

I'd bump it up to all 15's if you can. A big beer like a barley wine will push the limits on a
10 gallon MLT even for a five gallon batch.
