Home Brewing Biography: Wandered into a home brew store bought a kit and made some hefeweizen. Turned out great. I then tried a Irish stout and the yeast never took. I really had no clue what I was doing then so I got frustrated and quit. After I got married My Father-in-law started talking about brewing. So I got some books, pieced together a new kit, started an American cream ale,and are having a blast! its much more fun with more people! We just finished our 1st partial mash beer ( oatmeal stout ) the other day.

I read the debate about secondaries. I just liked the idea of it. But guess I'll take the
