  • I had been interested in home brewing recently, from watching how-to videos and seeing how easy it looked. I was given a Mr Beer kit for Father's Day 2009, and two batches later, I moved up to full 5 gallon extract brewing for now.rnI have been pleased with my results so far, and will eventually go to all grain brewing, once I move to a bigger house and have more space and equipment.

    Since you are only doing 5 gallon batches I would use the 15 for the boil.I agree!The 15 gallon
    would give you the extra headspace to prevent a boilover!
