  • I currently have (2) 15 gal keggs .One for mash and the other for kettle. I also have a 13 gallon keg I use for a HLT. I usulay brew 6 gallons but smaller beers I will do 10 using my 13 gallon keg fermenter. I just recently started using this. I recently made a chiller and I have plans to use it for fermenting through the summer using a pump and a chilled system.
    My favorite beers to do are Big Beers, I rarely do anything under %6. and I like to experement with diffrent flavors.
    I brew for fun and to learn. The best way to learn is from friends!

    Do you filter your water ? It could be your picking up some alkaline from your water . If you
    brought up gushing then I'd say infection from your plastic parts and replace those .
