  • I am a married 30 year old with twin boys, currenly 15 months old. I have lived in PA my entire life, but wouldn't mind moving to where it is warmer throughout the year. I am an avid 49er fan from about 6 years old and I love no team more. I love spending time with my family and just being outside while staying active.

  • I only recently got into brewing my own beer. I have friends who brew and they all make some great tasting stuff. Thought about trying it myself but never thought I could b/c of expenses, but I got lucky with a Groupon deal that got me a beginner's setup and and ingredient kit for over half the original cost.

As I write this, I have only brewed one batch, and while some parts were very frustrating I have learned a lot and look forward to doing many more. I have skipped the bottling process and went directly to kegging. My setup for brewing consists of a fermenting bucket, glass carboy secondary fermenter and refurbish corny keg. I do not even have a true stock pot kettle for boiling as I have to borrow one. I purchased and old used kegerator off of craigslist that fits 2 sixtols or corny kegs and is fed by one 5lb CO2 with a splittler and valve shut offs.

I have 4. That is plenty. I can't make it fast enough so I usually always have at least 1 empty
tap. Plus I have an interchangeable sanke on the one for commercial brews. I might actually go
    back down...

You are just getting CO2 in your beer line probably due to pressue issues. This is issue it
pretty normal though. I could be wrong but 10' of line sounds like it is way overkill though.
    I'd adjust the...

$40 is a reseanable price. Probably won't find a better price anywhere else. I would recommend
getting a ball lock keg though. They are smaller in diameter but taller and have a built in
    pressure reli...
