Do you need to do a secondary fermentation for wine/cider?

I'm just wondering if there is any way to use a wide open container that doesn't have an
airtight lid as a fermenter somehow? I'm on a budget of close to nothing and just wanna make a
    10l skeeter pee ...

Any idea what the rough % alcohol would be on pure apple juice? Btw I've used balloons on
around 10 brews in the past and never had a problem :) I also kinda enjoy doing things DIY :)

Not if you do the starter and have the nutrients. And yes you do need to use a stopper before
back sweetening. Here's a great basic and easy video that will get your methods for this down
    quick. Skeet...

My batches ferment out in 9 days. Clearing is optional ( a little cleaner taste if you do) But
plenty of times I didn't clear and drank it right away. Just lemon concentrate, sugar and
    yeast. Back swe...

waiting a week then drinking it? Would it work?I brewed a few kits in the past but right now I
    have litera...

Thanks, yeah I wasn't sure to post in wine or cider forum for lemon wine. For cider I can just
dump a bunch of sugar and yeast into the juice, wait a week, syphon then drink right? This is
    the kind of...

Hey, I've brewed a few wines and beers in the past, although lately don't have much time and
currently have no equipment at all! But I found a packet of wine yeast and thinking what to do
    with it. I'v...

No one has any ideas about this? I'd like to know in case it's something that can affect future
    bottles/brews.

I just opened a beer I bottled a few weeks ago, and found strange brown pasty stuff in the cap
and the inside of the rim of the bottle. None of the other bottles in the batch (or any of my
    batches) we...
