    ABOUT ME

  • Brett
  • My buddy got me into brewing when I tried a bottle of German Hefeweizen- Extract KIT235 (morebeer.com) to which he added Orange/Lemon zest, Coriander, and Sage. With that first taste, I decided to "try brewing once I have the money." A friend had equipment he wasn't using, so he loaned it all to me and I cranked up the fire! rnAfter about 25 gallons, I made the jump to kegging. Three 'keezers' and 100 gal later, I'm making the jump to electric all grain.

That's a pretty sweet technique. Nicely executed. As for the faucets, I was going to ask Santa

    Is that the...

I made lids from the top cutouts. The lid is useful on my HLT but kinda pointless on the boil
kettle. probably have done something similar even if I had inverted my kegs (wish I did)

Something that I realized after I cut off the plug on my chugger was that the cord wasn't long
enough to reach my panel . I ended up make a short extension with a locking plug on one end and

Did you get one of their inner supports for the false bottom or do you think it will work
without it (since the keg is inverted and the bottom drain makes a smooth angled funnel below)I

That is a real work of art, NoahBeach. I'm especially love the clean look of your water filter
    and filling line run.
