  • Just getting into all of this, and have the added challenge of living in an RV space...less-than-perfect climate control... Looking forward to the challenge. :) I'm a particular fan of meads and ciders, which is pretty much the sum total of what I've brewed thus far.

  • Found out awhile back that a cousin and her husband found their way into the brewing world. Kind of sparked in interest. More importantly, though, I discovered mead; and discovered that it's rather hard to come by in local liquor stores. Thus, I decided I needed to make my own...and then found out I've got another friend who makes his own mead as well. So the time is right and I just need to figure out how to make it work in my mobile abode.

    They're in a cabinet at ~75F right now. Temperature control is a difficult thing here in the
    RV, but I'm working on it. May throw a bag of ice in the cabinet with them or something.

    Day 2:Yeast is definitely doing it's job, but it's being calm about it. Went ahead and topped,
