I had the same problem, light was dim when element wasn't hooked up, but went dark when element
was plugged in. Lit like a charm when it was supposed to.

I'd use the 15 gallon for the boil kettle so you can do 10 gallon batches if you prefer. I'd
put a valve on all of them with camlock fittings, and thermometers on the HLT and Mash Tun.

Thanks BNB, but I already purchased non-DIN stuff. If I ever build again or upgrade, it'll be
to DIN equipment for sure. I like how it looks better. Simplicity is a big plus too!
