Since I turned 21 I was amazed by all of the different styles and possibilities with beer. I've always been a creative and hands on kind of person that loves having tasks to do, so when I heard of the possibility of home brewing my mind went crazy!
I'm also contemplating, in the back of my mind, going to UC Davis' brewing program once done at SJSU. - Galena & Willamette IPA

Secondary was to avoid autolysis. With healthier yeast these days, autolysis is not an issue
after only 1 month on top of the yeast cake.I still use a secondary when I'm using a fining
