  • I've been brewing since June 2007. I brew about a batch a month. I switched to all grain after batch #8. I've been dabbling in mead and wine for a few months. I use an AL pot, but I can't remember why.

    Not sure what you mean in saying you can't pump hot wort directly. I think most folks, myself
    included, pump hot wort through the plate chiller. Works great.
