Thanks for the replies.Poured spent beer off this morning, still tasted like sweet wort. Not a
solid yeast cake at the bottom either. Think may have ruptured the yeast cell while freezing

Hi allMade a starter from a frozen yeast. I am unsure of its health as I forgot to shake the
vials to mix up the yeast & glycerine before submerging in alcohol & freezingIt's been on

Wyeast 1332 harvested from a (1st generation) starter April 4th Just the yeast & 1800 ml of
wort (1040) that I canned from a previous brew day.Stepped this yeast up as well for my 1st 10

Cool, kinda what I figured but didn't want to take any chances with my first all grain biab
batch. It smelt fine when I put it in the fridge.

Chiller came out pretty shiny after about a 8hr soak. Used it for the 1st time the other day &
it chilled the wort to 70 F in about 20 min. Thanks for the great vid Bobby

Thanks Bobby,Did you just soak it or boil it? My brew pot isn't tall enough to cover the whole
chiller so boiling is out until I get my keggle built but I could soak it in a 5 gal

in PWB & hot water for a couple of hours & then rinsed it. I read in Palmer' book that you
should soak it ...
