WHO HOO! I WOULD have had 75% total efficiency had i seen this volume issue before hand :( I

How deep was the thermometer in to the mash?It is about 2.5 gallons or so high but it is tricky
(does that make sense?). I have a false bottom which is 2 gallons from the bottom of the tun.

take a sample and test with hydrometer if it has been more than 48 hours. You may need to
repitch.. maybe yeast were not healthy :(
