It might also already be over carbed. Remember, if you are getting nothing but foam/head,
that's co2 coming out of solution, of course what's left will be flat. I'd pull it off the gas,
    vent it, then ...

You want to vent it after you make the adjustment too. Many things will affect pressure, such
as temp changes. 1 psi is not that bad. You have to remember that you probably had the keg at
    15 psi. Just...

No not broken, and sure it will. You must release pressure on keg for regulator to adjust
properly, otherwise it will read the pressure you applied/or is left at the keg/line. If you
    put a blanket of ...

I guess I didnt realize the CO2 would be absorbed and cause a decrease in PSI. I guess I dont
remember this on my other beers, since ive done the same thing. I will keep trying it and
    seeing if it lev...

gas. Until your beer reaches an equilibrium its gonna keep absorbing the co2 and your keg
    pressure will d...

Sorry, but you're gonna be at same dilemna if you keep upping psi every time. Just leave it be
at 10-14psi and wait a few weeks for it to stabilize, maybe even a month.

The easiest way is to buy a sheet of these to stick on there. One sheet is all you'd probably
need since they are reusable. www.BeerClings.comREALLY??? one label type and only 1 design. I
    believe he's...

  • Posted in thread: Cold crash on 04-04-2012 at 06:41 PM
that's because I dont believe its a huge science to it. I bring my fermenter down to 30-32F for
a week or more and then keg. I usually cold crash after 2 weeks of fermentation or after the
    hydrometer ...
