    ABOUT ME

  • I started the odyssey of brewing with a hodgepodge of supplies from the local hardware store, all the while living in a tiny dorm room. Brewing in a 17 story college dorm with only a community sink and burner is interesting to say the least! After two attempts (one a success and the other a failure) with the $40 assembled hardware store supplies, I decided to go about doing it right. Way to much money later, I have complete kegging and brewing supplies on the way. That and a new apartment ^^. I look forward to designing and brewing numerous original recipes... just as long as this doesn't bankrupt me!
  • SMASH 1 gallon batches with as many different hops as I can get my hands on.

I brewed a Saison during the summer, and ever since the last five batches have all had the
Saison flavor profile on top of what is supposed to be there. All new batches are made with

It smells very pumpkin like and though it has faded slightly, it's still potent. Could adding
US-05 to it help clean things up? Temp has been a steady 77ish for the past two weeks.
