I don't know how hot it gets where you are but my kegerator is in my garage, where summer temps
approach 110-120F. I know that it's probably safe to have my tank outside the fridge, but I
    leave it in ...

Absolutely... And I am pretty positive most people would.Well, maybe someday I'll get to that
level. But until then I'll spend $0.10 on my ABV booster that's hidden under a mountain of
    hops...rather t...

Honey and table sugar are not the same thing and while they both contain a large percentage of
sugars that'll ferment completely out, they will absolutely taste differently as an adjunct to
    a beer.Not...

10 years into this hobby and for the first time ever, I will be brewing a SMaSH this weekend.
All Marris Otter and EKG. Shooting for about 1.039. 30 IBUs. Should make a nice little English
    pale ale.

  • Posted in thread: What have you done to challenge your brewing? on 09-23-2014 at 10:28 PM
I brew my favorite styles over and over and over to try and perfect them. I never care about
repeating a recipe. I just want the perfect beer every time I brew. Is that so much to ask? So,
    a 4 tap set...

I love Nelson. My opinion...make an APA or IPA...simple grain bill, maybe a little C-40 or some
carapils. Bitter with Warrior, finish with Nelson and Galaxy (or Citra, or Simcoe if you can't
    get Galax...
