  • My father acquired a Mr. Beer(or something similar) kit for Christmas one year (sometime in the 90s). I became very interested in brewing and Christmas 2002 my parents got my a True Brew kit. I was doing extracts on and off for about 6 years until about 3 years ago when I started brewing rather regularly. I discovered, while looking to replicate an extract recipe that I had brewed, that there was something called All Grain brewing. Well that began my obsession. And I haven't slowed down since. My toys have just gotten much more expensive.
