  • Started about 15 years ago with my roommate who was way more into it than I was. Started up again about 5 years ago doing extracts and then up to all grain. Still do extracts in winter when I'm too much of a wus to stand out in the cold for an hour.

    I'm not straining the trub out of the wort when the boil is done. I find that it doesn't affect
    the flavor or fermentation at all and saves a bunch of time.
