Home Brewing Biography: My wife bought me a Mr.beer kit in January 2010 and immediately started expanding. I bought one kit beer, then I brewed a partial mash brew and then I made my own lauter tun and started all-grain brewing. I took 2nd place in a county fair with my second batch of beer (honey ale). I also put together my own Keg-o-rator with 2 taps. I'm currently researching some plans and ideas for a 3 tier brewing system. I Have also started growing my own hops. I currently grow Nugget and Cascade and I'm going to start a few more varieties soon...most likely aroma hops.

Nice setup. I'm currrently converting a rubberized keg into a MLT. How well does your hold
heat? I was going to double insulate mine....is it necessary?

I'm currently upsizing to a 10gal brewing setup. One of these would work great as a fermentor!
