    Flat. I dimpled/soldered fittings to hang my HERMS coil-combo-chiller under the lid. Would have
    been a nightmare with the curvy domed lid.

    You could, but you'd be quite disappointed when the new solution has the same pH.That's how it
    works - it's mostly phosphoric acid.
