I am tired of playing it safe...so watch out.
First off I have to say I love to have fun and being surrounded by friends and interesting people. Here are somethings I like:
History: I LOVE HISTORY... That is an understatement, history to me is more interesting than modern news. Sure, I love current politics but give me a choice between watching the news and watching the history/discovery channel and the latter will win hands down. I love to read about ancient civilizations.
Mythology: This kind of goes hand in hand with history. I find it odd that as time went by we did away with most mythological stories. Sure, schools still teach the stuff, but they dont even scratch the surface. I dont care if its real or not, its the emotion and drive these tales gave people in the ancient world.
Beer: I love it, hell I would say I live it...yes, I am obsessed with it. I read about it everyday and try various styles all the time. I hate the fizzy yellow crap that we as Americans have co - Beer,Art,Tattoo Flash,Mythology and plain old fashion fun and mistif.
- Unemployed...have any leads?
- Thomas Edward Beer
- Anything that catches my ear.
- Rudy and anything funny.
- House, Stargate, travel channel, history channel, and discovery channel
-
BYO magazine
draft magazine
beer magazine
Anything to do with beer, history, and mythology
Any - Nothing in my area..looking for a few cool people to start one up.

Well I think its obvious that I love beer. I dont think there is anything better on this planet. It is my passion. Everything I do revolves around beer. This Is however new for me, I started drinking when I was 18 for the buzz factor, I drank the cheapest beer I could find then, but I always had a taste for craft beer. When I turned 21 and was finally able to drink, I couldnt...for I was married and was Mormon at the time. I have since left that part of my life completely, it have been about 5 years and I havent looked back. The day I was legally free from my bad marriage and false beliefs, I enjoyed a variety of special beers from a neighborhood grocery store that has over 200 craft beers for sale, Not one of the beers there sold there where from Budweiser, Coors, or Miller. I instantly feel in love all over again, it was love at first gulp.
since that time I have tried over 125+ different beers, I recently decided that I love the stuff so much I should attempt brew my own and see -
I plan on brewing the weirdest crap imaginable. I want to defy the norm, defy society.
I have plans to find some ancient recipes and twist them with my weird ****-o-meter. - Some weird crap that didnt turn out right...yes, I fallowed the instructions that came with my kit from my LHBS

Don't know Nottingham yeast, but bubblegum would seem very out of place with that beer to me.
Just a half oz of cascade? When? Weird recipe.Thats what I thought.Posted in thread: My first batch... on 10-07-2009 at 05:47 PM
I'm brewing that one right now. My batch got stuck at 1.020 gravity. I repitched yeast on it
yesterday to get it started again. When I tasted it on Monday, I think I was getting some of
that bubblegum...Posted in thread: My first batch... on 10-07-2009 at 05:12 PM
Did you use the starter kit from Jim's Home Brew?yes! Never again.
Friends dont let friends drink alone. A real friend buy's the beer. And a true friend drinks that beer.
