    Here is my finished product, bottled on Sunday 4/22/12.This one had about 1lb of golden raisins
    and 3lbs of dried apricot.

    I couldnt find any golden raisins... so i used apricots! it shouldnt affect the color, but
    hopefully it'll add some panache!

    Thoughts on adding the Banana to the boill? I'm generally not a huge fan of going to secondary
    or tertiary with beer. Mead yes, but not beer.Was thinking about doing a cheap & easy extract

    Looks awesome. I did the same thing but i used 3.3lbs of wheat LME, turning it into a bananna

    this is the second recipe i've seen today that calls for heating / burning honey . . . I make
    mead and never use heat, none at all. All my mead buddies say that heating honey kills a ton of
    flavor . ....

    Four, I don't understand what fermentables other than the banana are going to be in your
    primary? As soon as you add the honey in it will just take off again and might strip some taste
    of the bananas ...
