I used 1x8 and i have not had any problems, i just doubled the back side. It has been in place
for over 8 months with no ill effects.

Thanks guys I actually searched the furum last night (searching for a problem what a novel

I can't use the refractometer except at the beginning? Update I recalibrated and I was off just

I had mine blow back into the fermentation chamber. Its been 80 + in the garage and 65 in
there. I have two one gallon jugs I change out once a day, they are usually 60% frozen.
