- I'm still fairly new to this. My 3rd batch is in the primary. I was a member of this forum for over a year before I tried homebrewing. Between this site and John Palmer's book, I feel I can tackle most any question that I may have.

I'm thinking about just putting my Apfelwein back in the plastic jugs that the apple juice came
in. Has anyone else done this? I do not plan on carbing the plastic jugs.BTW, who was it that

My first batch has been in the primary for 4.5 weeks. I took an SG reading last night at 1.000.
