  • Got started with a beginner's starter kit while looking for another hobby. My first brew was alright but I decided I could do better and I began brewing non stop for several years mostly dedicated to brewing by style guidelines and entering competitions. I'd become almost obsessed with this hobby and tried to learn as much as I possibly can by joining forums, reading books, hanging around the LHBS and of course, learning through experience. rnrnThe obsession turned into a job and then a career and I spend my days working in the beer industry. With the career came less time for hobbies but after 3 years of 1 or 2 batches a year I've returned full forced into the hobby this time with a more creative approach to brewing instead of just brewing to win competitions.
