  • Got started with a beginner's starter kit while looking for another hobby. The obsession turned into a job and then a career and I spend my days working in the beer industry. With the career came less time for hobbies but after 3 years of 1 or 2 batches a year I've returned full force into the hobby this time with a more creative approach to brewing instead of just brewing to win competitions.

Using the Green Bay Rackers "can I mash it?" calculator it seems like you'd only use 5.5
gallons of your mash tun at 1.25 qt per pound. Sounds like you're fine.

Just wrapped up a session saison that'll be dry hopped with 4oz of citra. Cleaning kegs now and
will be kegging some sort of double dry hopped American wheat IPA kind of thing.
