If you used a CFC, you'd have less troubles.Agreed, never had any trouble with my CFC. Cheap to
make, high flow, easy clean, I have never thought about a plate. On the HERMS I like stainless
in 1/2". ...

Plus the beer was bright. Like filtered bright, guess they moved away from bottle conditioned.

Well mine was only 6gal batch so no where close to 60# grain bill lol mine was pretty easy
think around 20#, I bottom feed my mash too with gravity for no dough balls and wow I will
