I used one full spiral per keg. I left it in there until empty. I would not bulk age for 6
months in a carboy. Oxidation would be a real threat. I would age in the keg. I really think

Ditch it and start fresh. Been there and tried it. This is why I always rubber band a paper
towel under my foil. One ruined batch was enough for me.
