If your crush is filtering correctly, doubt it does anything extra. Can't hurt anything I
wouldn't think. I use a copper manifold, so what do I know.

I've brewed with 3 year old grain before. Couldn't imagine not having my mill. The crush is

When I read MO temp it was 171 w Thermopen. The wort temp coming from my MT was @ 162 at
beginning of sparge. Goes to show the difference and how hot the sparge water needs to be. For
