Have one now w 566. I found it to be a cleaner yeast. Not a fan, my split with 565 is much
better. I fermented at 72, didn't get bubblegum, didn't get much in the way of Saison IMO.

I have a split batch of Saison now. 12g w 565 6g w 566. I pitched at 65, moved it next to my
heating vent and let it rise to 72 over 2 days. Put them on my vent and they went to 80-82

If your crush is filtering correctly, doubt it does anything extra. Can't hurt anything I
wouldn't think. I use a copper manifold, so what do I know.

I've brewed with 3 year old grain before. Couldn't imagine not having my mill. The crush is
fantastic and most of all repeatable. I just run my MM-3 with a mounted, old school 1/2" drill.
